I don't like how Les Pauls feel in my hands, I don't like how muddy they get, I don't.... I want it. and I have the money, its so hard to tell myself I don't need it.

I play a little erratically. I've seen plenty of Strats with pick marks on the upper horns so I know I'm not the only one. (Granted I don't let the pick touch the body, but my hand could hit the switch.)
That model right there, aside from it's shortcomings in the area of build quality --being a modern-day low-end Gibson--, is probably the best spec'd maple-topped Les Paul ever made IMO. P90's and chambering: two things Les Pauls should have had from the start. Sorry to disappoint, but if I was gonna suggest a Les Paul to someone who doesn't like Les Pauls, that model would be the one.
Of course, I'd prefer if you bought my amp instead with your money!
