Couple of questions for those that have ordered a KoT

I got my e-mail about a month ago, but have been unable to order the pedal yet. How long does after the e-mail can you order a pedal? I don't see it anywhere in the e-mail. I'm hoping to get it with my next paycheck, but I'm still catching up for three months of having a job that paid ~50% of what I making now. If not next paycheck, certainly by mid January.

Also; which options did you get? I'm pretty sure I'm just going to get the Gain option on both sides and leave it at that.

Email Mike and explain your situation. I'm sure that since you've waited several months at this point, maybe even a year or more he'd wait on you a few more weeks...

Options...when I ordered mine there were no real options so I just bought it. A while later I sent it back for the higher gain mods on both sides. The tone is the same...really, the same no matter what anybody else tells you but it it does have more gain. Not crazy gain...just a little more.

If you never run the drive control under about one third then just get the higher gain and FWIW, I never ran them that low and have never seen anybody run them that low.

I guess now there are lots more options...external switches, buffers, 4 jacks, etc...

Don't know about any of that but IMHO the higher gain mods are a no brainer for both sides!

That's kinda what I was figuring. I'll e-mail him in the morning and make sure everything's squared away in case I have to wait another month or so.

That's also kinda what I figured with regards to the gain mods. I probably wont do the jacks since I'm not using a switcher system, but I'm split 50/50 on the switch. That one might be a day of purchase decision, TBH.
