Crazy 8 Solo voice clips

I had this set up and thought ya'll might want ta check out a quick solo voice clip with tha Crazy 8 in my Washburn USA Stevie Salas sig through my Marshall :cool2: . Here is the Salas with the Crazy 8 http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=261302&songID=5565503

On the JB one was the JB all along and you played with the volume pot ?
I prefered the JB one as you didn't give the same raw boost around the end of the tune on the Crazy 8 clip , it seems like you are gone on a mellow side with this Crazy 8 !

Wow, the 8 sounds really good! Cutting, but not shrill or lacking in bass.

I am waiting for a new pickguard before I put mine in my Strat ... I am really looking forward to it!

that crazy 8 is so raw, that's the only way I can describe it, it's like a wounded animal screaming hehe. Really nice mate.

Yep I started on the yellow channel and went to the Red Channel on my TSL Marshall on both clips using the volume controll but never left the bridge pickups. The Salas guitar I used for the Crazy 8 clip is darker and more mellow than the MG 102 I used for the JB clip. That said it is a fair assesment the Crazy 8 pickup itself seems fatter and more mellow than the JB.

I agree it is raw but yet somehow it still remains strangely smooth and sweet. It is a different tone than I am used to but I kinda like it!! I will use the guitar on stage this weekend so I will know more then.

I like the one with the JB better, but the Crazy 8 still sounds pretty cool!

I prefered the Crazy 8. Somehow I heard it as ballsier and a little more pleasant. Screamed harmonics though. I dig your playing bro!

I like the tone you got out of the Crazy 8 as well... sounds really raw, but in a very very good way!

Now I gotta install mine...

I liked the Crazy 8 a lot! In fact I liked it more than the JB. I quite feel that this pickup is a wild rhythm monster and with an aggressive rig it could rip walls.

beautiful music. i liked the crazy 8 much better. the jb sounded too shrill i guess i would call it. and the crazy 8 was dirty but very smooth; like a patron silver.

Both sound pretty good but I think the JB fits better with the piece and style.

that crazy eight sounded amazing. i had mine in a (prs style) hollowbody and it was nothing like that. so much brighter in my axe, which is why i traded it. had it sounded as dark as your clips i can swear it would never have left my guitar.
