What this “A” stand for on CS pickup boxes? In my cases its titled: “A” Pearly Gates. They are specified 7.8k/8.8k from 2016.
And what the difference to Billy Gibbons Pearl Gates?

might be antiquity treatment, butyrate bobbins and aging?

None of my CS boxes have "A". On mine "B" means bridge. Antiquity treatment would be "Dun-aged", I think they spell that out when they do it? For the mags mine say "Al 2". Could call the Custom Shop and ask what the "A" means?

Yes, could be Antiquity Treatment. I see aged covers and polepieces.
