Cubase and EZDrummer

Ok, so I've got these two and I can open up them up. I have a 16 midi project going. Is there a really quick way to map the drums to a computer keyboard or an external numpad and record on Cubase? I seem to be having trouble with with this and am really hoping for a quick way to start and not have to RTFM.

Just program it in with the drum editor - much easier and quicker.
