Ok, I'm looking to change the bridge pickup in my Les Paul Classic. I thought I was settled on the Custom Custom until I looked at the Duncan Tone Chart. Which confused the hell out of me. According to it, the CC doesn't have that much bass. Which is wierd, because a few years ago I had a CC in a Floyd Strat- and I remember it being very warm sounding. According to the SH-11 discription, it can be used to tame bright guitars... ? What gives?
I want to "tame" the highs on my Lester. Will the CC do the trick? I'm looking for a creamy sounding pickup, that still retains some definition and balls. Will the CC fit this bill?
By the way, there is a A2 in the neck position. The CC and A2 should pare well, correct? Thanks for the help guys!
