Customshop 50 head....

[Vasshu the humanoid typhoon]

Used a Quattro, one plexitone as well in its loop(the Quattro)
Closed mic'ed with a 57, and an AKG414 for ambience about one meter away.
Used the 4x12 CM cab with 4 V-30's.
I just dragged in the 2x12 closed back as well, will do that one next week, as we have a few days off right now, holidays.
Kramer with it's org pickup line, two APS-1's and a JB.

Darn! The JB's icky midrange sours the whole tonal experience .

Other than that, i can imagine it would sound GREAT with a different pickup! Thanks for the clip

Thanks, it has that sound I grew up with, most of the players I like had that pickup, some still does, I love that sound, but the amp is a real kicker, as you could probally feel, it has some serious fatness to it, lots of everything, I really like the head version alot, no reverb but a presence knob instead, and I like that alot more!
Actually I was a bit surprised by that clip, I do not think that I have heard much of it, other than recording it??

the amp is a real kicker, as you could probally feel, has some serious fatness to it, lots of everything

Thanks, yeah the cleans are the key here, good amp is always the only thing to get, pedals do not make anything sound better, it has to be the amp that sounds good in the first place

Make a lousy amp??
Yeah it is a beast, I was instantly in love with it the first time I saw it on the MusikMesse in Frankfurt, now the amp is sadly sold to a gentelman in Switzerland
So I have to make the last clips in a hurry, and wait for the next head to arrive.
