Hmmm.

What makes it a 137 instead of a 135?

Also it definitely looks good, but the advertising is intentionally misleading.

The ES-135 Reissue had a balsa center block, trapeze tail piece, split parallelogram inlays

The ES-137 had a mahogany center block, TOM bridge and tailpiece, trapezoid inlays or dot (depending on model)

The are other differences, like originally the ES-135 RI had P-90s, but when they switched to humbuckers, it started to get confusing on sight what was different.

I agree - I'd check on that just to be sure. But from what I see here - secks!

Show me one. Link please. Like that...

Yeah I know it's not exactly the same, but it sure looks a heck of a lot better. You can even see the binding that hasn't been sprayed over. If you like different pups or different hardware, you could replace all of that and still have an extra $1000 in your pocket.

That's a Classic, not a Premier. THAT guitar is going for $2k easy. There are a bunch on Reverb and the LEAST expensive is just under $2k

This is the same as the guitar in the pic. No binding.

I think $800 is the current bid, not what it will go for when it closes.

I like it, but I really wished they'd offer the Kluson-style tuners with different color tuner tips. Green was totally not the right choice there.

For some reason, they stick with those no matter what color the guitar is.

They've used black tips in the past. Just not anymore. And Gotoh does offer black buttons as well.

They just decided to use green for whatever reason here.
