The Daphne Blue Squire has returned
After hanging unfinished on the back wall for ages
We finally got it back together
It intonates perfectly with the roller nut offset slightly towards the bridge at an angle

It was billed as Daphne Blue when I purchased it
It seams more Seafoam Green to me
Maybe it's the lighting

I agree it just isn't pale blue

It looks more green in the pic, but I wondered if that's due to the white balance. If it's green, it looks more surf than seafoam. Those are all among my favorite colors though, so I think it looks great.

Hanging behind the door of my daughters room
Mostly forgotten
She was redecorating and discovered it

Oddly enough she was decorating in that same turquoise theme

Bullet
Change the hardware to black it out
Cheap Wilkerson bridge with roller saddles from guitar parts on-line
Roller nut from mighty mite
Cheap locking tuners from guitar parts online so cheap I have to pry the locking pin down every time I string it

Changed the pickups and pick guard
Bought a set from Amazon.com
Sounds good to my ears

Looks great. I like the color, regardless of what it's called. Nice to see it pulled back into service.

When you find one of those Bullet hidden gems, they can really be made sound like their "real" counterparts, and they definately can be setup to be players, I may add.



Throughout the years, I've completed many projects using different souped-up Bullets, and EMG SA p'ups, pretty much like the one depicted.
