dvadneau: thank you for the advice, but I don't think I have the problem that the original poster had.
I know I have a quite dark amp, but when I tried the guitar on other amps, it didn't sound dark to me. Who knows, maybe it is, but it didn't sound that way to me, especially after I put in a Seth Lover in the bridge.
