which one is better for thrash metal, speed, and the RR tone the dd or invader? thanks :laugh2: :laugh2:

the dd might be too bright but then again the invader might not give you the best lead tone. I dont have much experience with these but i'm sure someone else with more info can chime in.

Put an invader in the bridge and a distortion in the neck! That should do the trick ;).

Good middle zone would be a Custom. I love mine!

DD is the better of the 2 for Randy Rhoads tone.

With the proper EQing you can. I also agree with the Invader in the Bridge and Distortion in the neck.

well then could the dd also be good for thrash with a jazz in the neck? dd b/jazz n, invader b/jazz n or invader b/dd n?

Randy Rhoads used a SH-6b (Distortion) and a SH-2n (Jazz) in his Jackson V. The polka dot V had some kind of DiMarzios. But anyways, the SH-6b should do the trick for thrash, you might just need to EQ it differently, or utilize an EQ pedal.

i think i will get a dd for bridge and jazz for neck in a rhoads.
