Dem Ibajnezez

Re: Dem Ibajnezez

I've never played a MIJ Inanez, both of mine were MIC and had tiny
I had this for a minute (and had to sell it, along with all my other gear when I got laid off right after my daughter had heart surgery) I dug it, but the neck could have been bigger. Currently I have THIS

It's a "Douglas" (from Rondo Music) that's nearly identical (other than costing less than half of the Ibby, and having a baseball-bat neck)
I also had THIS

I saw them online, HAAAAAD to have one, sold a buncha gear off, and found one I could afford... And when it showed up it had a skinny neck. (Yeah, I know, don't buy a guitar I can't try first...)
Oh and this guy:

I had to get one 'cause a buddy had a real Roadstar I liked, my Hondo-branded one has a HUGE neck compared to the Roadstar I got to play...
I guess my point is, do the "nicer" or more expensive (MIJ) Ibanez' have thicker necks than the cheaper ones?

Is that a Phat Cat in the bridge? And what tele pickup in the neck? How did they blend. I've been considering this kind of combo.

They came stock with some kinda humbucker and Tele neck pup. Mine was a returned one, cause somebody dropped something on the shipping box, right onto the 3-way switch and broke it. I put a "Twisted Tele" neck pup and a "Tonerider Rebel 90" in it (and CTS/Switchcraft/Orange Drop stuff) in it. It sounded really good- I LOVED both pups together for rhythm stuff. I would still have it if the neck wasn't so small I got hand cramps from it.
