Amazon does sell knockoffs. I don't mean from third party sellers either. Amazon commits blatant fraud all the time. I ordered Schaller strap locks and got clearly inferior locks stamped "made in China" that rattled like hell because the pieces didn't fit together properly.
I posted a review saying Amazon was selling knockoffs but they quickly deleted it. Shady company.

Hmm - Maybe mine are fake, had one snap down the middle after a week and that hasn't happened before.
