Difference between PG & APH1 in neck position?

Can anyone who's either tried or uses these 2 p/ups describe in words the difference in tone between the Pearly Gates and the Alnico Pro 2 when used in the neck position? Do either suit a particular style better than the other?

A little less bass and a little more mids from the Pearly Gates and a slightly higher resonant frequency and lower DC resistance would probably tend to make the PG sound slightly brighter. That "Texas Sizzle" we hear about.

That's just a guess based on the Tone Chart specs.

I've never had both in the same guitar.
