I was in my attic earlier looking for something and i stumbled across the origional guitar case my guild S60D came in all tattered and beat up, so i go to move it and it's heavy...hmmmm. i was all confused and had no idea what was in it. so when i opened it up and...this gem was in the case! it's a late 80's Guild Burnside Blade. there was a bag of spare parts in the case with it. i forgot back around 1995 or so my friend Anthony gave me the guitar since he had no idea how to play. it was a bit damaged from him just tossing it around and other beating on it when they were at his house. it needed some parts and i had no clue how to fix it back then but i took it anyway with hopes to one day have it fixed or learn how to fix it. i guess i forgot about it and it's sat for years in the case in the attic. anyway i took it down through in a duncan designed JB pickup i had did a ghetto fix to the horrid tremlo to lock it down, oiled the board (it was real dry) and gave it new life. it's missing the special platic ring that goes around the switch so i couldn't get one to fit...thus the tape over the switch and second knob hole lol. it's pretty beat up and has some cracks around the edge where the carved top meets the main body wood but she plays ok now. also there is no neck or middle pickup in it, just the covers since the pickups were missing from the case and it only had covers with it. regular singles wouldn't fit the covers so i went with just the covers to hold the spot for now. i was also missing a few screws for the pickup rings so i worked with what i had lol. anyway, that's a ton of babble but, i can't believe i forgot about this poor thing for so long...
