I don't need modeling, but I DO NOT understand why everyone feels modern day solid state sounds artificial? The only time my solidstate sounded 'artificial' was when I dialed in wanky eq's-- that's the players fault.

The Fender Cyber-twin is a computer rofl, I'm sure it outperforms early 90s-era computers, the knobs freaking move when you change settings rofl, that's just so badass.

Anyway, I've liked messing around with Line6 amps but never been able to get a tone I like out of them, I <3 Randall, so plain SS for me at the moment although the new Fenders are cool but not badass enough for me.

Very cool, and I noticed it says you have a Randall RG75G2. I'm currently looking into getting that amp. Is that one of the better SS amps out there? I wonder how it compares to the POD.

I sure it would've been better to say digital modeling vs analog transistor or something, but I'm pretty sure most people are past the semantics and have moved on to discussing tone.

i dont think it was ever a question about the tone. you can fake a modeler on a recording like there's no tomorrow. you can make a tube amp sound worse than i SS ...

its the feel!

I heard it like the first guy:
3 is modeller, 1 is tube, 2 is solid state.
What is right?

Yep, youre right i think. Modeler was easy picked, but i got the tube/ss wrong way around

Tube was simple I think.. I never heard a SS amp sound like 1?
2 just sucks imo
3 sounds good but not natural!

I found it!

#1 is a 5150 II tube amp

#2 is a Marshall VS100 solid state amp

#3 is a V-Amp pro modeler.
