Re: DiMarzio Haters - Why?

Why I don't buy Dimarzios.
Tradmark of the letters PAF
Trademark of the Double Creme Bobbin
Trademark of Mirror finish
Notice these are all trademarks, trademarks do NOT expire, patents do.
The trademarking of the letters PAF, and the double creme bobbins is intellectual property theft. Gibson did it first.
What that is essentially saying is we are TOO DUMB to know a Duncan from a Dimarzio without the double creme bobbins, or now the mirror finish bobbins.
Mirror finish is not new BTW, Rio Grande was offering that a few years back, I translate this to MORE intellectual property theft.

+100 These are the reasons I do not recommend or buy, nor do I accept them as a gift or allow them to be bought on my behalf. Until I learned of these issues, I would gladly install Dimarzios for any customer. As soon as I learned of them, I immediately sold my entire Dimarzio stock and told anyone who wanted a DImarzio to please choose a brand I can sell with a good conscience or go somewhere else, this included custom guitars that were not in process yet
Related side Note: WD Music Products (Patent of the Lipstick Tube pup) and Ruby Tubes /Magic Parts (Legal action against Paul Ruby Amplification, where it´s made very clear to the consumer that there is no relation, and where the name is in fact registered for supplies and not amplifiers...) do the same thing, and receive the same treatment from me...I used to semi-endorse Ruby tubes and their SP12CEL Speakers until this happened....it took all of 2 weeks for me to switch to GT Tubes and Eminence Speakers...Not with ME, guys, and not with my money, either :fing25:
And that´s something that (I´d guess) about 5.5 billlion people still need to learn: As soon as you add capitalism as a business-model into your society, the only votes that count are the ones you cast with your wallet.
And judging by tha, I´ve got a few conclusions:
1. this kind of business practise is strongly supported by the masses
2. the whole world LOVES China and other oppressive regimes
3. Nobody cares whether they´ll have work anymore when they´re 40, becasue they´re actively paying for those jobs to go to China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia et. al
Do some of you really think Levis are still made in the US? Or Nike ever was? Or almost any "American" brand of mass-product still is?
