Re: Distortion III

I like that they got Jimi to sign all the Fuzz Faces. :)

Seriously, I think these boxes look great! But they're Dunlops, so tone is a concern.

Re: Distortion III

Ok, well i think the pedal may be fine for a new release back in the day, but i dont think its the place for todays pedals. I would guess the originals are around and are held in high regard, so they are worth alot of value. I just think if someone is going to release a pedal, it should sound good and not look like it was designed from the 50s. Maybe using some innovation or new technology to develop it may be a better idea to me. I just see nothing spectacular about the looks of that pedal. That a better explanation?

Re: Distortion III

Just showing your age then;)
Plenty of other stuff out there for that.
Alot of stuff still looks like it was made in the 50's and 60's, that is called a market, then there is other markets for metal heads and such....
For these pedal anything updated is simply not going to work....period!
Wanna sell classics, they better be alot like a classic then!
If you want modern and updated, get that instead.
This is a recreation!

Re: Distortion III

Retro is very hip right now, which is why there's a market for it. Retro looks aren't for everyone, but they've certainly become more mainstream. That's almost a contradiction in terms, but it is what it is.

You say "goodbye," and I say "hello."
