This guy is within driving distance so maybe I could save on shipping. Baltic birch, etc. But I'd go for a closed back. I have 2 speakers that need a home.

I'd be curious if he has any panels on the back. For a 2x12, that's a pretty small cab. If it's completely open back as in, nothing at all on the back, then I guess the enclosure size doesn't matter that much. I personally like my 2x12's a bit larger.

Also ask him how if they are fingerjointed or dovetail jointed? That makes a difference in long-term stability.

I went and looked at his other auctions. Dado joints. nothing wrong with that. It looks like his prefered way to mount the speakers is from the front. Grills are removable. Looks like velcro in all 4 corners.

Looks like some serious bang for the buck.

Hey Scott or anyone else. His cabs have 2 inputs for parallel wiring. I'm not familiar with speaker wiring. My amp has a single ext. cab out jack. Would I just plug a cable with 2- 1/4" jacks on the other end from my single output jack into these cabs?

They are parallel usually means both jacks are equivalent. You just need one cable from your amp to one of those jacks. The second jack could be used to connect a second cab if your amp just has one output...
