Love my tubes, but there's time when I am home and just like to plug into a solid state cheapie to noodle around on. What's yours?
Mine is...

My little practice amp. It really sounds very good for a tiny box.

The GX-15r really is a good little practice/bedroom amp.

Pignose. Old wide-panel Peaveys. Peavey VSS-20. Tech 21. And the original Crates in the pine cabinets.

But nothing beats a wide open BF Vibro or tweed Champ. The BEST practice amp I ever had was an original Super Champ with the optional EV 10". Yummy!

Marshall VS100 combo.
3-ch, sep revs(Cln/Dirties).
Pre-FX model.

Plays nice w/pedals & rack stuffs.

Loved my honeytone, but it recently kicked the bucket after about 4 years. Great value and had a very tube like distortion. I actually plan to but another one to mod to run to a 16 or 8ohm Cabnet to get a better sound. Looks like a decent modding amp.

I dont like mine as much. Distortion was really flubby and fake sounding, cleans where meh. I think that was partially the speaker. Decent amp overall though, maybe mines just getting old and worn out. :/

Mine would have to be my Orange Micro-Terror half stack or my Nano British Invasion.

I played through a number of Crates like that twenty, twenty-five years ago. As I remember, that's how they sounded.
