Double Hex Screw APH-1N on Charvel DK24s?

I really like the sound of this super strat. It's one of my favorite ones I've heard. Seems like they would be telling the truth about it being a custom A2P.

they certainly would not be lying intentionally, i think some inside info would be nice on how the pickup came together

No reason to believe that it isn't what they say it is. It is very common for companies to specify an alteration to a common pickup as an exclusive for a particular model. Fender did this with the Pearly Gates Plus, and Godin did that with the Custom 5 (which they called Custom Custom Custom).

A2 magnet gives less output and adds a bit of warmth to a 24 fret guitar, compared to the Jazz neck. However I haven't tried a full shred.

Maybe they asked duncan to make a Jazz but with hex screws to match the Full Shred.

And perhaps duncan found a hex screwed jazz to be too bright so he put an A2 in it and that's why it is labelled as an A2P, i think this sounds like it could've been what went down.

This actually might be it. Makes perfect logical sense

All 3 of those look great..I think the non-matching poles are interesting.

of course it's subjective, but I think charvel went for a sleeker more uniform look with their new models and thus got matching poles and a "stealth" duncan logo that is barely visible.

I personally prefer the new ones by far.

here's a clip that shows off the pickups nicely, around 3:00

I think it might even sound better than a stock jazz, it kinda sounds like a warmer full shred neck, which it might actually be if full shred is close to jazz/APH coils, basically a full shred with A2.

A 'warmer' Full Shred, would indeed, be a Jazz, or even a Sentient. This particular pickup is probably close to those, without the tight bass.
