Dream Guitar

Re: Dream Guitar

I have a copy. The languedocs run 10gs and thats waaaaaaay out of my price range for an axe lol. The one i have is from Equator Instruments and its a killer guitar no doubt. I was lucky enough to get one of the first ones he was building before prices got expensive.

I remember when he first showed up on the forum posting his work. Even when he started out, I thought it was top notch stuff.

Re: Dream Guitar

I have most of the parts for mine: mahogany Strat with maple cap, maple neck with ebony fingerboard and abalone inlays, Wilkinson tremolo, sperzel tuners, and Bartolini single coils.

Re: Dream Guitar

At the moment, if it was a guitar that currently exists I'd love to have Don's (d1dsj) Wayne 'Kilminster' Supertele. I'd love to get Mike (XSSIVE) to make me a custom creation based on his DA.003.

I've been GASSING for a new Single cut 6. I think I've narrowed it down to this.. Initially I wanted a Gibson, in the $750 - $1000 range, I think this is just better. Plus it's already loaded with Duncans!

Re: Dream Guitar

I got one earlier this year - a '67 ES-125; next is either a Zemaitis or a D'Avanzo depending on funds.
