The same **** thing as a delay lol.
Well, here: the idea behind a delay and an echo is not necessarily how it sounds, but where it occurs in nature.
You see, technically, a delay is the sound you hear when you attend a big rock show and you happen to be waaaaaay in the back, where there are speakers playing what is being played onstage: the difference is that since it takes time for the sound to travel through all those cables a good 60 yards or so, there is, quite literally, a DELAY.
Where as an echo is technically just yelling at the Grand Canyon.
Do they sound similar? Sure. It's a repeat. We get it.
The only real difference between them, I suppose, would be the ORIGIN.
