The A2 magnet I used was quite weak. In fact, my new A3 magnet I tried in the PAF pro had more pull.
I got a new A2 Magnet from stewmac and it definitely had a lot more pull. I put it in and HOLY CRAP!!! Much better. The Custom Custom is slightly louder than the SNS, but not very noticeable. And the tone is phenomenal and a great match with the SNS. The Duncan Custom is also a good match and I can see a DC/SNS combo work great in a warm guitar, but for this bright sounding one I have, the CC/SNS is a better fit.
