Hey, what can you say about this wah wah pedal? Is this good? If I buy this wah, I'll use it with Epi LP Custom PRO and Kustom KG112FX. Is the price good relatively to quality? Thanx for answers :)

Re: Dunlop SW95

When it comes to Dunlop pedals, the Slash model isn't one of the favorites.

The Zakk Wylde, Joe Bonamassa, Kirk Hammet, and Jerry Cantrell get more praise.

I guess the best thing to do would be to comparison shop at a GC or Sam Ash that carries a variety. Or, watch some youtubes and see which one sounds best to you.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Hendrix. I haven't played the Slash, but I thought the plain Jane Crybaby was pretty thin and bright. The Hendrix sounds good to me. It's fuller and has a more usable sweep.

+1 to the Kirk and the Jerry wahs. They are my two personal favorite wahs, even though I don't care for Kirk's playing.

Yeah, sometimes you've got to ignore the signature, and just listen to the gear. The Hammett wah sounds pretty darn good under gain.....I sorta like it more than the VH.

My two wahs are the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe and Joe Bonamassa wah. And there's still other wahs out there that I want, like the RMC Joe Walsh wah.
I wouldn't mind owning the Cantrell wah either. All of them are cool, and sound good. I wonder how collectible they'll be over time, after they're long discontinued. I'm thinking the Bonamassa Fuzz Face will be one of the most sought after. My Bonamassa copper set was one of my favorite purchases this year. Both of those pedals sound great.

Look at my avatar pic. There they are.

The newer slash wah is supposed to be better, but I havn't heard it. I agree with the Hammet Wah and Wylde wah. Both sick with gain!
