E-Megaswitch + HSH -- help needed by someone who has no business trying this at home

Yes, I admit. I should have taken the pickups to an expert and not wasted hours trying to figure this out. I've watched a dozen YouTube videos, read countless instructions with conflicting info and I'm just plain lost. Hoping someone can break this down in simple terms (such as this color wire goes there!) since I'm really not clear what's considered hot, coil tap or ground.

Neck -- SH-2N Jazz
Middle -- SS1 RWRP
Bridge -- SH4 JB

Switch - StewMac Megaswitch E (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electro...nd_knobs/Megaswitches/Megaswitch_E-Model.html)

I don't think I should use the HSH, 1 Vol, 1 Tone, 5-way diagram on the SD site since it doesn't include the coil tap. (But I'm not totally sure.)

Stewmac says:

Humbucker/single-coil/humbucker
Point # Wire assignment
1 middle pickup hot wire
2 neck pickup hot wire
3 output to volume pot
4 ground to volume pot
5 neck pickup coil tap
6 bridge pickup coil tap
7 bridge pickup hot wire

Any chance in pairing up those instructions with the actual colors of the wires? Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I've learned my lesson. Next time, hire the expert!

Thanks! That will give me something to try tonight!

One additional question. For lug 3, does that mean a wire is going from the output to lug 3 and then to the volume pot? (Similar for 4.)

You have one wire from the jack to the volume pot
Then one wire from the volume to switch terminal 3

Then switch terminal 4 goes to the back of the volume pot
And the back of the volume pot is sent to the ground leg of the jack

Plug a cable intothe jacthe tip of the guitar cable should be the hot
The sleave of the cable is ground
