I wanted a Classic Vibe when they came out, had a bunch of pine laying around from an old waterbed, found the 3/8 Birdseye veneer at the local wood shop, glued it all up and finished it during the World Series last fall. Nice little guitar, but the cheap pickups are so sad. It was a budget build, but wow, after using premium pickups in my factory guitars, it's tough to listen to it.
And Donnie rocks too. '80s New England sound.
I mentioned the Les Paul & Marshall first... I even told you guys what year and model it was... and that there's a good chance he used an Echoplex for the short delay instead of a chorus.
