Early George Lynch - Bill Lawrence?

Re: Early George Lynch - Bill Lawrence?

It's an old Lawrence L-90 as stated months ago. The old L-90 had raised rails (the newer one shown above does not), which is casting a shadow making the rails look bigger/thicker. The seam that you're seeing is not bobbins, but actually the Lawrence logo that stretches across the entire casing (see pic below).

Possible its those but to me it still looks like separate coils not the shallow groove in that photo. I could be wrong but no way to tell 100% what it is.

Dude, it's a time warp paradox Dimebucker. Like, duh!

PS seriously, though, look at the bloody image. Can you see the strings? Not really. Then WHY would you be able to see those teeny-weeny slitlike rails that you can barely even discern for actual pieces of metal and not gaps even on a crisp HD image

PPS viewing on a 46" screen here. Maybe those guys arguing are just seeing it on their smartphones/tablets/netbooks without their glasses or smthn???

I can actually see the strings ;) and the picture is clear enough to distinguish rails from polepieces :)

Yeah, I can sorta see something that appears to be strings or their shadows... in this context. Same way that, in context, I see something that looks like the rounded plastic of DiMarzio X2Ns. Maybe.

...however, if we weren't told what that thing was, I doubt many people would even see part of a guitar, a pickup, a bridge, and strings in that pic. That's what I meant.

Yes, but we're a special sort here. We care about things that 99% of the populace wouldn't just because it makes us happy. And that's all that matters. :)
