Egnater Two Day Amp Building Seminar!

Re: Egnater Two Day Amp Building Seminar!

I thought it was. I got an awesome amp, learned a lot and got to meet and hang out with Bruce and other fine people. What's not to like? Of course, unless you don't like marshall flavored hotrodded goodness lol.

Sweetwater is going to open the classes to their employees soon. They will surely fill at that point.

Thinking about offering a two day "advanced" amp mod/theory class in Detroit on a Saturday and Sunday. We would not be building an amp. For those of you who have already attended a class, this would be some review but all the stuff we didn't have time for during the class. I would present and demonstrate all the pertinent theory, modifications etc. that you would need to be able to modify your own gear and/or build other kits without fear. As always, I would keep the math and unnecessary theory to a minimum as all of that can be found elsewhere. Cost would be around $300 per student. Does this sound interesting? Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I just have so much more I would love to teach and the one day we have at the building seminars is just not enough time.

Re: Egnater Two Day Amp Building Seminar!

Bruce, just wanted to ask... whatever happened to the Detroit series amps that were at NAMM in 2013? I notice they didn't make an appearance at the 2014 NAMM show. I was really impressed with the Detroit 18W head and was eagerly awaiting the chance to try one out. Did the whole series get cancelled or just shelved for the forseeable future?

Thanks!

I'm curious about this too. The 40W head seemed right up my alley.

Do you know we are doing a two day class in Chicago on September 13/14, 2014 at The Music Garage near downtown? Cost is $1950. You build a fantastic sounding 20 watt, hand wired, boutique level, Marshall stye head. Not a whole lot more time to sign up so don't delay. Please email me at begnater@aol.com for information.
