Egnater Vengeance

Hi,

Has anyone played this amp? I tried one the other day. Seems more like a hard rock than a true metal amp. If any one has it I'd like to know what you guys are doing with it. I have another thread up about picking between it and a Blackstar or Peavey and this one seemed to be the least well known.

That's actually pretty fair assessment. It's a good hard rock amp... it would need a touch more gain and a tighter, faster response on the dirty channel to be a good metal amp on it's own. The Armageddon would be a better metal amp.

Very Marshally sound overall, great cleans, satisfying reverb, and it's paired with a great cab. The half power switch is nice too.

I wouldn't kick it out of bed but I'd prefer the Armageddon a little more.
