Anyone played it?
I can get Epi Les Paul Junior with single dog ear pickup, I haven't played P-90s yet (yeah.. I'm ashamed).
And i havent heared a word about that epi (all junior or special epis i've seen had humbucker in them...)
It looks cheap (bolt on neck, junior style so dot inlays , wraparound bridge, funny tangerine finish) but I like it , and the price is about 60-70$.
Would YOU go for it or not?

Ive played one of the old junior(humbucker one) about a year ago. It did actually play pretty nice, didnt sound terrible through the marshall combo i played it through. If its a low price why not? And if its not that great turn it into an expirament guitar, or some kind of project.

I personally don't think plywood makes for a very good tonewood but your mileage may vary.

www.rondomusic.net has a LP JR. lookin guitar for like $120 that's at least set-neck and mahagoney like a proper LP. Plus it has two P90's.

not familiar with that exact guitar but that kind of setup sounds awesome. p90s are great. they have a lot of bite. rock an roll tone animals they are. and as it's been said if it does sound like cr-p you could experiment with it. i say go for it!

I have one, neck is "wide-flat" but plays nice; good weight, fun having just one pickup! I put a Lollar P90 in and had the pots changed then added an intonable tailpiece - now it is one of my favorites to play! Someday I will get a Gibson Jr but for now it is hella fun... :smokin:
