hi there first of I wanted to say that I have always wanted an esp m2 but due to financial reasons I could never afford it the only thing I came to close to those specs is an esp ltd alexi-600, and it has a blackout. ive been meaning to change it the pickup to a dave mustaine livewire but haven't found any reviews in a guitar that was made of alder. would you be able to give me some of your thoughts of the mustaine bridge in an alder? any info would be appreciative

Other opinion...PATB-2 Parallel Axis Distortion, TB6...

Try the PATB-2. It is an awesome pick up. Distortion may work, although it has a certain mid-hump to it. I just start using Black Winters and, despite the name and output, I think they could easy swing 80s metal to KSW, BFMV, etc.

I'm going to suggest the El Diablo because I feel this pickup rules just about every other pickup in Alder, I also believe for as hot as it is it's incredibly versatile.....
