Before people jump off the deep end about analog versus digital and the cost of this unit, let me explain how much more practical this application may be for me. I am legally blind and can only identify pedals by foot, I have to feel around the order of pedals with my foot ike how some type with their hands with out looking, but this is proving to be a real challenge for me and I am struggling with turning pedals on/off appropriately while jamming with others.... I am looking to keep delays, reverbs/filters and modulation under one roof and I think the Eventide H9 may be what I need. It does have an LCD screen, but I can download the H9 control app for my IPhone and my Iphone reads outloud to me, so the Iphone could make this unit completely accessible to me for editing and saving presets. So for me, less reall is more, less being fewer pedals/switches and more meaning as much of this is under a quality roof that is accessible for me....
Has anyone tried one of these units out? What are your impressions.... online demos sound cool, but those are kind of limiting.
