Expression Pedal With An LCD Screen?

like on the treadle you put your foot on? i dont think ive seen anything like that. ive seen boards with an expression pedal that have a screen, but never a stand alone pedal with one

I think the best you might be able to do is a screen on whatever the pedal is controlling, so you can see it modify parameters in real time.

I think they're usually just a pot (like the volume pot on a guitar)

...so maybe you could just buy a cheap multimeter and your volume pedal of choice, permanently connect the multimeter leads to the pot lugs, set it to read resistance and glue the multimeter to the side of the volume pedal.
:burnout:

Only thing like that I can think of is the Visual Volume pedal -

That looks like a cool pedal, but it's a volume pedal not an expression pedal.

However, someone just told me in another forum that the MC8 (Morningstar MIDI Controller) that I plan to run the expression pedal through to control my effects, will show the expression level on its screen. The plan is to use the expression pedal to control the mix of dry and wet. Toe position = 100% wet, heel position = 100% dry, middle position = 50/50.

it can be used as an expression pedal with some systems in passive mode. i know nothing about the mc8, but sounds like you found something thatll work for ya
