I stongly agree and Find myself having to switch guitars for those single coil runs... which is a possibility in the studio, not so much in a gig... Oh well, not gonna have my strat re-wired right now....Ironjose said:i really like the H-H configuration, but you gotta have a hum-splitter switch for those single coils runs you may have in a gig or studio situation.

+1 to this also, h-h+coil split switch=utra-versatile super awesome tone monster of a pickup configuration!Ironjose said:i really like the H-H configuration, but you gotta have a hum-splitter switch for those single coils runs you may have in a gig or studio situation.

I also love that tone, so I'm keeping my JB in the bridge spot and putting a DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell in the neck spot which has a very "single coil type" sound, I'm sure I'll post something aobut it once I get to try it out next week.Breogan said:Well... I've voted HSS and the fact it's that I don't have that type of guitar!! It's just that I love the tone of a bridge humbucker and a neck SC. It's seems to me that has to be a pickups configuration with a great versatility.
