Favorite reverb pedals

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

I use an Eventide Space. Pricey but worth every penny.

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

^^^ That's no pedal - its a footstool - and a really nice one at that.

I gots one too, but mine is a RI.

The reverb pedal I use most often is a Strymon Blue Sky.

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

I have a Line 6 Verbzilla and a Boss RV-3 and highly recommend them both.

If I was in the market at the minute, I'd be looking at a Hall of Fame, though. I spent a little time with one recently and it was a very versatile and great-sounding pedal.

Its at the top of my list actually. Thanks for the other suggestions

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

In addition to the spring reverb on my amps I also have a Verbzilla and a Mr. Black Supermoon Chrome. The Supermoon is pretty impressive for modulated reverb, the Verbzilla gets the job done for other verbs but I'm very interested in trying out some Strymon reverbs (Blue Sky, Flint, Big Sky) and the Eventide Space.

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

That Hall of Fame is real nice. The Catalinbread Echorec is an excellent piece too, though its a little more delayish.

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

The EHX Cathedral is really cool, but it suffers from volume drop out when punched in (or at least mine did) and does not have a gain knob to offset. Too bad cause it has some great sounds.

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

I'm a bit simpler than most here. Big box Holy Grail. It decays without that annoying stepping of the newer version, and it's reasonably priced.

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

If I don't stumble on a HOF, I'm planning on just building one. There's some good plans out there using Belton Digilog bricks.

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

I have a TC HoF and a Neunaber Wet (mono). Both great, the HoF offers stereo capability and a multitude of decent verbs but the Wet is just dripping with quality sound.... it sounds very authentic to me!

Re: Favorite reverb pedals

well it depends on your price range and desired reverbs, and how fancy you would like to get...

it seems like the ehx cathedral is one of the better overall pedals. It does everything well. The boss rv5 is pretty good too. But these 2 are fairly expensive, $200+ new.

If you just want a cheaper option, the digitech digiverb is pretty damn good. I actually bought this one. You can pick up for $40 used, there's actually someone selling one on this forum I think.
