Do you mean the DH-1 humbucker that is in the American Deluxe Fat Strat (H/S/S) models? If that's the one you're talking about I've never heard anyone say that it was made by SD, or if a SD pick-up is similar to it. But then again, what do I know? (Answer: nothing!)

I swear the DH-1 was made by SeymourDuncan though.

that DH-1 is a great pickup. i played one on an older hss american deluxe and the only thing i didnt dig was the fact that there was a lot of hum. but the pickup was not at fault. supposedly fender had a wiring fault on many of the hss locking trem deluxes that year. i did find a dealer that sold them separately once but i forget where i saw it. ill link u if i can find it.

I believe that's what's in my neck pickup of my Tele Special (Fat Tele). Chrome covered on mine. Great sounding pickup! Also sounds great split to still get a nice single coil neck tone.
