What do you guys think about these? I've never owned a guitar with a heel-adjustable truss rod personally. I have worked on several of them, but those were the type where the neck had to be removed (worst idea ever).
Just looking at it, I don't like the look as well as simply having a small angled hole at the headstock. I'm not crazy about the cut they are making out of the wood below the last fret. It is ugly in that location. That also leaves very little wood below that last fret, and I'd hate to see it popping out of its slot after a few years. I may just be too pessimistic though. It might work fine.
I do like the fact that Jackson and Charvel have FINALLY moved the volume knob out of your way on down toward the bridge, which is why I am curious.
Any experience with these Heel adjustable rods?
