It's not a good version of it anyway, Fender is claiming it's a replica but the neck pickup position is off.
I thought Cobain used a Paf Pro in the neck, you know before he started to use JB instead of super d.
Standard PAF in Neck.
The Bridge Pickup was changed to a JB and the guitar was never again played on stage. Make what you will of that.
When you hear the guitar on the records it is the Super Distortion roar.
source for that info?
I haven't even followed the link but I bet it isn't even available left-handed...
EDIT: Oh snap, it actually is. Which can only mean one thing. It's priced waaaayyyy out of my range.
They should put one shotgun shell in each case.
I would suck wang for that lower bout 3way switch plate.
how could they not include a lefty model in a COBAIN signature
Very nice, and I've always liked Jazzmasters, but for far less cash I think I'd just seek out an MIJ and mod it up.
I could use the leftover funds to plant a house, or build a tree.
I want the plate too but I would pay money.
Actually, want I really want is the Johnny Marr switchplate. (Four-way lever type. Bridge, both, neck Both in Series!)

I just saw this too. Funny, cobain probably would have despised having a sig guitar
You would think they could get something simple like that correct. :banghead:
Looks like it could be corrected easily with another guard.
