Fenders: Have anyone done this?

Has anyone ever taken one of those Fender cast bottle openers, and screwed one to the top of their guitar? I think it would look badass on the right guitar!

it has been done.... in fact i saw it on a Custom Shop axe from Fender.. it was a really rough relic tele

Sounds about right! It's like peanut butter and jelly for a beat up Fender guitar hound. The Tele would be the tits model for one.

I knew a dude who had a lap steel with a built in ash tray & cup holder

I know an old dude that has an old @ss COKE bottle opener on the side of his old @ss Twin Reverb!

I've got one of those Coca-Cola openers from a garage sale, but I can't find it.

I know a guy that has a Corona labeled opener on his well abused no-name Les Paul copy.

It helps that he plays in a Bar Room Rock type band !

Years ago, I had a Beck's one on my Strats, right next to the jack cup. I even carved out a bit of the body underneath the opener for easier bottle top/neck access. It was a great stage gimmick in bars, serving its purpose quite well but eventually, the novelty wore off as I got really tired of sprayed beer all over me and the guitar everytime I used it.
