I always fancied a tele for it's twang and raw pure tone (and awesome bridge pickup tone) but being a strat player every time i found a tele i liked there was always a strat that i also needed......
This time though i had to buy a tele.......So here's what i got........
It's a fender classic player baja tele which comes with a beefy 9.5 radius medium jumbo frets neck, a CS broadcaster bridge pickup and a Custom Shop “Twisted” Tele Single-Coil (Neck) and S1 switching. It originally came with a vintage blonde finish but since i always been a big admirer of double bound teles and lake placid blue finish i HAD to change the body (to a MIJ custom 62 reissue body i got from ebay).
The guitar has an awesome tone and excellent built quality and my only problem is that i have to get used to the quite big neck since i am used to playing smaller necks.......
