Yeah, a buddy here might be selling is brand-spanking new Fender 12-strings he won...

.... here's a scoop : 1-2 times a year, Fender is running a "sales contest" thru their various dealers, the vendors accumulate "Fender Points" that they can exchange for some Fender (and their associated brands) gear.... amps, guitars, accessories.. whatever!! Dont be surprised if your local music store is trying only to "push" fender these days!! :laugh2:

My great buddy and guitarmate in the band caught a '52 RI Telecaster, 1-piece ash body, light and sooooo resonant... a real wonderful piece tagged 2000$ CAD!!

Wooooh, your friend must be a happy fellow.... Too bad I'm not a fender guy... and that I really don't need or want another electric guitar right now... I guess I pretty much have everything I'll need for a good while (I'm not talking about pick-ups tho... :smack: )

Isn't that fender point thing a little like the cards at subway? Imagine if the customers could do that...
