Finally!!! NGD: The Guitar I Have Been Dreaming About Since 1999....NO ICEMAN'ING!!!

In 1999 I was at Nashville Used Music with my buddy Bob (MrHeavyMetal). I played an ESP Vintage Plus Telecaster and it absolutely blew me away!! I didn't buy it that day because it had a couple of scratches on it. I ended up thinking about it for a day and regretted not buying it. Well, I called back a couple of days later to buy it, and it had been sold. I have been dreaming about that guitar since then and kicking myself in the teeth about not buying it.

Scroll to about three weeks ago. I was farting around on Ebay and looked up some ESP Vintage Plus guitars. I saw this one. Unfortunately the guy was asking more than I really wanted to pay honestly. I could afford it, but it just wasn't what I wanted to pay. Well, He relisted it for what I thought was appropriate if nobody bid on it. Nobody bid on it but me.

I recorded it as soon as I got it, but my playing was so crappy that I decided to record later. I'm drinking at the moment.

The cool thing about it is this.........I was sitting here not working because of the rain. I saw it was going to be delivered today by UPS. I knew for a fact that they always deliver somewhat later here around 5 PM or so. I called up my buddy that works for UPS. He came over and I asked him to find out when it was going to be delivered. As usual, it was going to be aroud 4:30-6 pm. He called the dude delivering and he brought it right over. It's nice to be be and have connections!!

Anyways, got some firends here and we're passing around the guitar like a joint, and getting high off of it. I'll check in and hollah!!

Those were great guitars, I had a Vintage Plus Strat with a Floyd & EMG's that was that exact color.

I love the maple board. And the color is cool. The axe's looks are a perfect example of that sweet Tele sound.
