lol j/k but seriously what a gorgeous axe I'm a sucker for blue teles I was a dumbass and sold a limited edition tradition jerry reid tele it was lake placid blue (mahogany body) with double cream binding, hb neck, tele sc in bridge the neck was from one of the higher end traditions (vintage tinted maple with abalone T inlays). uggh just thinking about it makes me sad.

When I read the title and then the poster I knew it had to be something jaw dropping. I mean, Jolly, who is completely loaded with awesome gear...a guitar he's been jonesing for for more than a decade?
Shiiet. Didn't disappoint either! Reminds me a bit of Chris of Arabia's blue tele.
I love those ESPs. One of the most mojo-tastic Tele's I've ever played was a relatively old and gigged to hell Ron Wood ESP...basically a Vintage Plus with a humbucker in the neck position.

She's a beaut. I'm normally a peghead snob, and think anything Tele-shaped should say "Fender" or "Squier" on the headstock. However, I make an exception for those ESPs. I remember them from as far back as the '80s, making "better than Fender" copies. Remember Ron Wood playing their Strats?

I can't believe it took until post 20 for someone to mention the wood grain. That's the real spectacular part about this guitar from my point of view. Hope you enjoy it, Jolly. I hope that finally displaces the Charvel that's been getting all the love.

I go there every other week or so (I work in TN but live in OH). I've bought a few guitars from them over the years. My regret of not buying was a Gibson Blueshawk with bigsby for $750. I didn't know much about these and passed on it until I found out more. Two weeks later, it was gone.
