finally swapped my A2 BB pro bridge w/ a seth

swapped my BBpro bridge modded with A2 with a seth lover bridge the other day and wow what a difference! the BB was good but i still feel there's something missing. so i swap the bridge pu first and it is really good the seth is clearly better than the BB(more woody and open, better mids). i'm now waiting for the antiquity for the neck.

Killer flametop! Seths and Antiquites have the tone. If you ever decide to go a bit hotter on the bridge, you can always go to a nickel C-5 or CC for vintage tone with a stronger output. My two main Pauls have C-5/59 and a Seth Lover set. Both sound equally great, but one begins where the other leaves off, tonewise.

the antiquity neck arrived yesterday. i installed it , plugged it in and i'm a bit disappointed. not that its a bad pickup but its not a good match for a seth bridge- specially uncovered seths. with the ant height set at its highest it still sounds way weaker than the seth. so i swapped the magnet to full strength A2 and whoa! the best neck pickup i'ved ever tried! clear,round, creamy and fat without the mud and "woofiness"
