I couldn't really gel with mine till I put NOS tubes in it. 100% difference. It was boxy & stiff with the stock tubes. I was amazed at the difference. I find it very loud also. I think the amp is a little fizzy at lower volumes that is for sure. I am not a high gain player at all. I keep the gain T around 3 and the volume at 7-10. This amp is very dynamic and oozes harmonics. I love it. I wish it had more low end thump but hey it's only a 15 w amp. I use it through a 1x12 cab with a greenback. I also have a 4 x 12 with g12 m 65's and it sounds good through the 4x12, but I like the speaker breakup on the greenback myself. It isn't for everyone but I really like it.
