finally went out and bought a JB

well, today me and my friend stan went out and chilled for a bit. we went to a bunch of music stores, we went to MAE and looked around. my original intent was to buy some antiquities for my strat, they didn't have them but they did have lindy fralins. too bad the fralins were about $200, and i only had $150. so i decided to look around for humbuckers and looked at the screamin demon and JB.
after thinking alot, i decided to go and buy the JB. i was loooking to get good harmonics so when i pull back on my floyd i can get those crazy harmonics and rip peopels heads off!!!

i'll give a review probably tomorrow when i put it in.

IT ****ING KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so many people bitch that it's too bright and shrill, it's not overly bright at all! it cuts through perfectly, has a great low end and badass harmonics.

i actually think the JB is now my favorite pickup

The JB is indeed a great all around pickup. I am a little more partial to the Custom 5 personally as it sounds freaking amazing through a Koch Multitone! The axe I have loaded with a JB sounds really great through a 5150 head/Mesa Recto 4x12 setup.

Just rewired one into my SG, and it sounds awsome. It's just one of those pickups that no matter what guitar you put it in, what amp you play it through, it still comes out sounding good. I don't know if you can MAKE this pickup sound bad.
