finish repair on ovation

My main 12-string took a header to the pavement this weekend at a very windy gig and sustained a rather ugly, but apparently non-compromising scratch to her finish. Any ideas on how to repair this? I'm considering just a black sharpie and a bit of clear lacquer or taping it off and bondo with some straight black lacquer. Any better suggestions?

very fine wet sanding will take out anything that hasnt pierced through to the finish. then clean with a rag, polish/dry/clean/polish/dry/clean etc etc etc untill it looks good again (initially it will look slightly duller, that's why you need to re-polish)

Black pencil (permanent), filling the scratch with superglue, slight sanding and than finishing with Micro-Mesh Finishing Abrasives Kit. Just like new......

I like this method. You could also use some dye pigment to color the super glue.

Thanks, guys. I don't mind a guitar with battle scars, but this one was just a bit too ugly...
