Finished the Telecaster Project

I have finally finished the Telecaster I've been putting together for a last couple of months. Here's a rundown of the specs:

- Warmoth 1 piece maple neck, standard thin profile, no inlays, locking tuners.
- Fender Highway 1 Tele body, satin trans red Nitro finish.
- Wilkinson tele bridge with brass compensated saddles
- JD bridge, Vintage Rhythm neck pickups

I have never heard a guitar sustain like this one, and it has completely killed the idea that bolt-on guitars suffer a loss of sustain for me. I can play a note and still hear it 5 seconds later. Unplugged this guitar is as loud as a lot of semi-hollow bodies I've heard, almost to the point of being unsettling as I wasn't expecting anything close to this. The acoustic sound of this guitar really surprised the expletive out of me when I first strung it up it was so loud, but its good to have to play around with unplugged while watching TV or using the computer (like right now). The sound is also a lot brighter than what I'm used to, which will take me awhile to figure out some new settings for my amp. I love that the tone knob actually makes the guitar sound huge and thick instead of just mud like it does with humbuckers.

I'd like to thank MikeS for his help with parts, and also for the neck he sold to me. Pics will be up tomorrow once I borrow a decent camera.
