Thank you very much. I am advancing quickly in the ability to lay down a drum track but haven't had the time to finish separating intros, verses, and choruses and adding fills. The song is complete in my head. Hopefully I will finish the recording process it in a few weeks.

That's the story of my life You're off to a great start! I feel your pain and I'm doing the same thing you are just finalizing parts and revising things as I go along to make things have a bit more impact. There's nothing more frustrating when you have some pieces of a song that are really great and you don't quite know how to tie it all together. Kudos to you for handling it all as I myself have given up on touching anything with drums.

Sounds great so far... I would give the lead there near the end a little volume boost to put it more over the top of the mix, it's hard to here the definition of your licks being played but I could follow the overall flow and structure, it just misses the technical details of your playing... which I know to be pretty good.

I don't have the patience to record my self correctly...or even learn to record myself correctly...then there's that "practice" thing....
